I am a retired social worker, working for over 27 years helping others. I have two grown children and one granddaughter. I love the outdoors and go hiking whenever I can.  I also like visiting different National Parks. I love nature and the great outdoors!

Since retiring, I have been looking for various creative outlets. I wrote a self-published book but felt I needed to find something else. I enjoyed doing word searches and thought I could make creative, unique-themed word searches for everyone to enjoy!  

That is how Word Search Emporium started. My mission is to create a plethora of quality word search games at a reasonable and affordable price that are engaging, educational, printable, family-friendly, and that all ages can enjoy! I create all the word searches and word puzzle myself with the assistance of Canva and I do not use any AI as I like to put my own creative spin on my creations. 

My family is now actively involved in helping me with my Etsy shop. By that, I mean that they are proofreading and editing each word search, actually completing each of my word searches, and giving me feedback (both positive and negative).  Each word search goes through these rigorous steps before I will put them in the shop. I take immense pride in the fact that I care about the quality of each product that I put in my shop.
